RIA Scam Logging Terms & Conditions and community guidelines.

Sharing & Log Distribution

  • You are permitted to share or broadcast RIA scam logs into external Discord servers using Astra or Discord’s built-in "crosslog" feature.
  • You may reference or share our logs at your discretion, provided that the log content is shared accurately and without modification.

1. Data Processing & Privacy

Legal Basis for Processing

RIA operates as a public protection and threat-prevention archive for the Roblox development community. Under Article 6(1)(f) of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and Recital 47, personal data (such as Discord User IDs, usernames, and transaction history) may be lawfully processed without explicit consent for the purpose of fraud prevention and community safety.

Right to Erasure Requests

Data deletion and erasure requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis:

  • Legitimate Logs: Requests to erase valid, verified scam logs will generally be declined under GDPR fraud prevention exemptions.
  • False/Resolved Logs: Logs determined to be inaccurate, fraudulent, framed, or resolved will be updated or removed promptly upon administrative review.

PII Protection

All evidence submissions must be free of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including real names, home addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, bank credentials, or passwords. Unintentional PII disclosures in screenshots or video evidence will be redacted or removed by staff.

2. Community Protection & User Conduct

  • RIA strictly prohibits doxxing, harassment, witch-hunting, or cyberbullying directed at any individual logged on our server.
  • Any member, user, or partner server found participating in, inciting, or encouraging harassment or retaliatory behavior against a logged individual will face immediate enforcement action, up to and including a permanent server ban and blacklisting.

3. Disclaimer & Liability

Submissions are reviewed based on provided evidence; however, RIA does not act as a formal legal court or government authority. Users utilize logging data as an informational safety measure.
